Our friend Robin found the perfect home for her little family...the Christmas tree. Each year we tie out our retired Christmas tree so that the Chickadees and other of our feathered friends have a protected tree to fly to as they are en route to our feeders. We didn't get it down and to the back burn pile soon enough.
I am so glad that we forgot. I have been taking pictures at inconsistent intervals.
One of the babes is hunger. She heard her mother's wings just as I clicked the picture.What a fun shot!
All fed and taking a short nap. Mama Robin will be back soon with more dinner.
