It is hard to believe that our little girl is three. Maggie had a great day and was joined by many of her favorite people. Papa and Mema Brewster were here. Aunt Tarah, Catie, Lydia, and Miriam, Uncle Steve, Aunt Susan, cousins Aaron and Jon.
The kids played with Mr. Potatoe head ..... not the way that was intended but "play" just the same. They all got along very well together. We all gathered around to watch Maggie open her gifts.
Ross and Catie really wanted to help. I had her open the cards first with intention of reading who each gift was from. When I asked Maggie if she wanted me to read them she said, "No, I can read it!" I asked, "What does it say?" She responded with song, "Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you." She also was handed money and immediately said, "Oh! Five dollars!" Then she headed to her piggy bank and deposited it right away.
After all the gift giving. We presented her with her cake. You can see she liked it very much. She was very excited. Her first reaction was. "Ooohhh!" I was glad that she appreciated the princess cake. It made the three hours of decorating (just the dress) worth the work.
I am so thankful for this wonderful little girl of ours. She is affectionate, loving, funny, active, and engaging.
